Welcome Coach Elkerson!

• Originally from Boonton, NJ
• Attended Boonton HS graduating in 1992. Lettered in three sports (basketball, track, and football). Was an All American in Football & Basketball, and All State in Track. Turned down Div 1A football scholarships to play D1 basketball at Univ. of North Carolina - Charlotte out of Conference USA (at the time).
• Received a B.A in International Business
• Starter for UNC-Charlotte and played against in conference foes Cincinnati, Tulane, Memphis and out of conference foes Duke, NC State, UNC Chapel Hill, and Wake Forest
• Played against the likes of future NBA-ers Kenyon Martin, Tim Duncan, Grant Hill, Bobby Hurley
• Played AAU for legendary high school coach Bobby Hurley Sr out of Jersey City, NJ (Hurley Sr is the winningest coach in the state of NJ and one of the all time winningest coaches nationally)
• Has coached on the AAU boys side for the last seven years
